Wenshin (Wen-Hsin) Ku, MA, CCC-SLP
Bilingual Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist

Wenshin grew up in Taiwan and moved to southern California when she was 13. Wenshin received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at San Diego State University. She then received her Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology at San Diego State University, along with a certification in Bilingual Assessment and Treatment in Mandarin.

Wenshin has worked in various settings including public schools, in-home early intervention, tele-therapy, as well as multidisciplinary pediatric clinics. As a therapist, Wenshin strongly believes in:

• respecting and facilitating neurodivergent clients' communication autonomy through relationship-based, child-led therapy

• supporting and empowering parents/caregivers to understand and advocate for their child's unique needs and strengths

• promoting neurodivergent clients' self-advocacy and self-determination

Wenshin is a late-diagnosed ADHDer. As a neurodivergent adult, she is passionate about raising awareness and promoting acceptance of neurodiversity, as well as advocating for neurodiversity-affirming care, particularly within the Mandarin-speaking community. In her spare time, Wenshin enjoys traveling and spending time at home with her husband, playing video/board games, reading, listening to/playing music, and creating neurodiversity-affirming speech therapy content in Mandarin on Instagram and through her podcast, 語言摯聊室.
